Please note that the hot tub is only available from 10am–10 pm daily. There is ample parking for cars at the front of the property.

For those who like spending time in nature and exploring wonderful locations, you don’t get much better than Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, with fantastic countryside walks beginning at your doorstep.

The village of Balloch is just under a mile away and home to a range of independent shops, cafes, restaurants and welcoming local pubs. Hit the water and try out a variety of water sports on Loch Lomond, with activities including paddleboarding, wakeboarding, kayaking and water skiing all available nearby.

Alternatively, take a boat ride on a restored steamer from Balloch Pier to see some of the marvellous local wildlife. Balloch Castle Country Park (1 mile), with its 19th-century castle and sweeping views across the loch, is home to the Loch Lomond Highland Games each summer and an enchanting Fairy Garden that children will love.

Loch Lomond Shores (2 miles) offers fun for all the family with a wide range of indoor, outdoor and water-based activities such as the Loch Lomond Aquarium, the Lomond Bird of Prey Centre and the Treezone aerial adventure course.

Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s architectural masterpiece Hill House is 8.5 miles away, a historical gem managed by the National Trust of Scotland. Of course, no trip to Scotland can be complete without a whisky tasting at a nearby distillery. Try the Glengoyne (16 miles) and Auchentoshan (11.5 miles) distilleries for an authentic taste of Scotland.

We had a fabulous time at the cottage. The cottage was amazing. They are in a great location - short walk to town where there are plenty pubs and places to eat. The cottage had everything we needed, they were spotless and there was loads of room. Highly recommend and we will defo be back.
