Finished to a high standard with neutral tones complemented by splashes of colour, this modern home comes complete with everything you need for a fun-filled stay.

After a day of discovery, kick off your shoes in the hallway, enter the open-plan lounge/dining area and relax on the expansive corner sofa to chat with friends or watch a family movie. There is plenty of space to dine at the table for ten or eat at the well-equipped kitchen's breakfast table, enjoying the fresh country air from the open French doors. The kitchen also houses a washing machine and tumble dryer, handy for muddy adventurers. A lovely double bedroom and a stylish shower room complete the ground floor.

Head upstairs to find three further bedrooms with crisp sheets on comfortable beds. Light and airy, these comfortable spaces promise a good night's sleep in this rural location.

Cross the shared pathway to the rear of the property and find your very own luxurious hot tub, perfect for soaking tired legs after a day of rambling. Take a seat under the bespoke gazebo, fire up the charcoal BBQ and dine alfresco on a warm summer’s evening in your private patio area. Please note that the hot tub is only available from 10am–10pm daily. There is designated parking for up to three cars at the front of the property.

The charming village of Balloch offers a wonderful range of independent shops, eateries and pubs lining the scenic and picturesque south-west shores of Loch Lomond. Jump aboard a cruise around Loch Lomond itself to admire the area from its best watery angle, sailing through some magnificent views of Ben Lomond as well as views towards some majestic stately homes and castles. Back on dry land, gather the gang for a thrill-seeking treetop adventure at Treezone 2 miles away to adventure around a breathtaking aerial assault course. If you’re seeking some local culture, visit the National Trust’s Hill House 8.5 miles away; there’s also a 19th-century castle to explore in Balloch Castle Country Park, less than a mile away.

I had a great weekend with family, the Lodge had everything you need, very spacious and clean, lots of places near at hand to visit. Will definitely visit again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, accommodation well equipped, clean and well decorated. The hot tub was a great extra to help relax after putting kids to bed. Highly recommend and would book again.

Really spacious and clean accomodation in ideal location for walking, climbing, cycling, kayaking, trips to Glasgow/Stirling. The hot tub was a real treat. The host was v responsive regarding minor issues relating to kitchen equipment. Would highly recommend.

Family cottage holiday for 7 and a dog. Holiday cottage ideally situated for easy access to areas of interest and quiet at night. Holiday cottage standards were excellent.
