  • Centrally located within a mile of two links golf courses and two beaches
Property code: 89176

Situated within a mile of two links golf courses and two beaches, this single-storey property is in the perfect location for a family break or for keen golfers. With two bedrooms, sleeping up to four people, the light, bright contemporary cottage is near Nairn. Nairn is on the Moray Firth and is widely seen as one of the driest and sunniest locations in Scotland.

On entering the property, from the side entrance, you’ll immediately be in the heart of the home – the open-plan kitchen diner. Like the rest of the property, it is neutrally decorated making the big living spaces and bedrooms feel even more spacious. All rooms have plenty of natural light thanks to many large windows throughout the property.

The kitchen itself has a modern feel thanks to its glossy units. It’s a sociable space with a table and chairs large enough for four guests. Everything you need is here to whip up delicious meals after a long day at the beach or on the golf course. From the kitchen, you go through to the hallway, which gives access to both bedrooms. One room is already set up as a twin, while the second bedroom has a super-king-size zip-and-link which can be made up as twin beds upon request – the accommodation in the property is therefore flexible for your needs. A stylish shower room is also accessed from the hallway while a cosy lounge completes the property. It’s got plenty of comfortable seating to relax and wind down after the day’s activities.

Outside, the property has an enclosed garden which is paved around the back and side with a patio, a small, decked area and outdoor seating to enjoy your morning coffee. There is space for one car on the property’s driveway.

  • 2 bedrooms – 1 super-king-size zip-and-link (that can be made up as twin beds on request) and 1 twin
  • 1 shower room with walk-in shower and WC
  • Electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer
  • Cot and highchair available on request
  • Smart TV
  • Enclosed paved garden with outdoor seating
  • Private parking for 1 car on driveway
  • Shops, pubs, restaurant and beach within 0.5 miles
  • Arrival: 16:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 1 dog allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £25. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

The cottage is well located in Nairn which provides all amenities a guest should need within an easy walk or drive. Perhaps its most notable amenity is the championship golf course, Nairn Dunbar Golf Club, little more than 100 metres from the house.

The wider area is popular for walking, cycling, and simply exploring thanks to the vast array of wildlife, both on land and in the water. It's possible to see seals, dolphins and a great variety of bird life down by the shore. Culbin Forest is only a mile away and a unique reserve which stretches 9 miles along the Moray Coast. Even those that don’t love walking will enjoy exploring the many trails here with the fantastic views across to Findhorn Bay. Other notable highlights for ramblers, cyclists or hikers is Cairngorms National Park

For history lovers, there’s plenty to see, with Cawdor Castle and Brodie Castle being must-dos – both within 10 miles. Or, if your favourite tipple is a great malt whisky, the Malt Whisky Trail is also only a 10-mile drive away. Finally, you could head to the Highland capital of Inverness (17 miles) which also has an airport for those coming from further afield.

Lovely spacious bungalow with only two steps at front and side door. Little patio area at back and side of house which you can hang out washing to dry or wash dogs paws with hose or simply sit out on the patio furniture and enjoy the birds. It has quite a narrow drive but its adequate. The inside was spotless and was very well equipped with a huge Read morebed . I loved how quiet the area was but you can easily walk into town and for golfers you couldnt get closer to Nairn Dunbar golf course. Hide
