The property has a studio-style layout and contemporary decor, with neutral paintwork, sleek furniture and little pops of colour in the soft furnishings. All eyes are drawn to the breathtaking surrounding landscape through the vast, dual-aspect windows.

The main living area of this Highland hideaway comprises a lounge/kitchen/diner/bedroom. At one end, you’ll find a sleek kitchen area with everything needed for a stress-free, self-catering holiday, as well as a cute breakfast bar for enjoying mealtimes with a view. In one corner is a comfortable sofa set in front of a Smart TV, so you can snuggle up and watch a movie after a day of outdoor adventure. When day turns to night, retire to the inviting king-size bed and admire the stunning view through the large picture window at the foot of the bed. Rounding off the property is a warming wood burner for chilly nights and a separate shower room.

Outside, the covered terrace is a tranquil spot for wildlife watching with a morning coffee. There’s also a BBQ for al fresco dining on a summer’s evening and a private hot tub for reviving weary limbs after a long walk.

We had a week in Hideaway 2/Thistle and could not ask for more. All essentials were provided to ensure our stay was perfect. The kitchen is well equipped and the provision of Scottish Soap products is an added bonus in the shower room. The power shower is a great wake up as well as a relief after a long walk. We stayed in The Thistle for a week and it was an absolutely peaceful holiday. It's a modern cabin in a truly tranquil location . Champagne, chocolates and fresh flowers were a lovely welcome to start our holiday. The view from the window was absolutely mesmerising and unforgettable. We stayed at Migdale Heights in their beautiful cosy cabin Thistle! Such incredible views with everything you need for a lovely stay in the Highlands - Lots to see and do in the area! Highly recommend We would go back in a heartbeat xxx

I would definitely recommend Migdale Heights if youre looking for a relaxing time away with beautiful views and great walks. The accommodation was 5* with everything we needed. With champagne on ice and log fire lit for our arrival, we couldnt have asked for a better start to our holiday.
