Just 5 miles from St Andrews and close to Cameron Loch, this is the place to come if you want on-site facilities and outdoor activities. A great holiday getaway for couples and small families it also offers easy access to the coastline.

A few steps lead from the ground up to the front entrance and inside the open-plan living space is furnished in elegant cream and light grey tones. Soft furnishings, ambient lighting, and heavy drapes add a homely atmosphere, and after a day exploring there’s enough space for everyone to relax on the lounge sofa with a film. The well-equipped kitchen overlooks the lounge and family meals can be enjoyed around the dining table. If the weather is good, you’ll want to push open the bi-fold doors and dine on the decked terrace. The bedrooms are situated off from the living area and feature a king-size bed and twin beds. The rooms are light and airy, and the king-size room also boasts an en-suite bathroom and Smart TV.

Outside, you can unwind on the decked terrace with a good book and cool drink or absorb the peaceful surroundings from your hot tub. To aid relaxation, there’s also an on-site gym, sauna, and spa. Other facilities include an adventure golf course, landscaped gardens, and a restaurant.

Woodland walks, sandy beaches, and stunning golf courses are all nearby meaning you’ll find something for everyone here. From the property, it’s a 1-mile stroll to Cameron Loch where you can enjoy a circular walk around the water. Bird lovers can also spend time spotting waterfowl and pink-footed geese. There are plenty of nearby golf courses but to play on one of the oldest and most famous in the world, head to the iconic 18-hole Old Course in St Andrews (5 miles). St Andrews is a compact town with medieval streets and plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants. While here be sure to visit St Andrews Cathedral, dating back to the 12th century, or discover the aquarium with its sharks, piranhas and seals. Also worth a visit is Scotland’s Secret Bunker, located just outside St Andrews. Hidden beneath a farmhouse, this Cold War bunker museum is set 100 feet underground and is packed with artefacts, and a labyrinth of rooms including a broadcast room and control centre. For a day on the beach head to West Sands Beach (5 miles). This long, sandy beach is clean and backed by rolling dunes, and is the perfect place to enjoy a swim, paddle, or romantic walk.
