Situated in Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park sits this modern three-bedroom property. Gather friends or family and enjoy a memorable break with plenty of outdoor activity including kayaking and paddleboarding on the loch and hiking and mountain biking around it. The setting is wonderfully tranquil yet it’s close to shops and restaurants and the vibrant city of Glasgow (22 miles).

Light grey tones, swathes of natural light, and contemporary decor make this a comfortable and relaxing place. On the ground floor, you’ll find an inviting lounge with plenty of space for everyone to kick back and relax. Large windows, ambient lighting, and soft furnishings create a sense of homely comfort and the whole family can unwind on the huge L-shaped sofa or settle down with a film on the Smart TV. During the day, you’ll want to push open the floor-to-ceiling glass doors and let the children run free in the garden. From the lounge, whitewashed walls sweep through to a separate kitchen. Sleek in design, it’s full of glossy cabinets and modern appliances while patio doors drench the space in uplifting light. A breakfast bar means you can chat with the chef in the family while they prepare a delicious meal then gather everyone together and dine at the table seating eight people. Also on the ground floor is a lovely double bedroom with French doors that open onto the garden. From the ground floor, stairs lead to the first floor and the remaining two bedrooms. Choose between the family room with two double beds and the twin room. Both rooms are light and airy with soothing tones and pretty garden views. There’s also a family bathroom on this floor.

Outside there’s a patio area dotted with garden furniture and a BBQ. Enjoy al fresco meals at the table or simply sit and listen to the birdsong in the trees. There’s even a hot tub to ensure complete relaxation.

Back on dry land you can visit the SEA LIFE Aquarium and Balloch Castle and Country Park (both 9 miles) or enjoy a day in the city of Glasgow, less than 22 miles away. Queen Elizabeth Forest Park lies to the north of your holiday home – drive 12 miles to the Go Ape centre at Aberfoyle for bucket-list-worthy adventures to thrill all the family. No holiday here would be complete without a lesson or two in the long and fascinating history of Scotch whisky. Head 7 miles south to Glengoyne Distillery where a range of tours and tasting sessions are available.
