Sleeping two guests, the lodge is the perfect romantic bolthole for couples looking to escape the humdrum of everyday life in picturesque surroundings. The walking opportunities in the area are endless, from exhilarating mountain climbs to loch-side strolls. For evenings out, the bustling town of Strathpeffer is just 2 miles away. After a day of adventure, crack open the bubbly and sink into your relaxing, wood-fired hot tub.

The beautiful, wooden lodge is bright and airy, with an open-plan layout and large windows framing the rural surroundings. The property has a home-away-from-home vibe, with subtle Highland decor and plush soft furnishings. Cascade Cabin was extremely warm and comfortable and the finish is of a very high standard. The cabin was very clean too and has a great veranda for relaxing after a hard day sight-seeing. We wanted to use it as a base to tour northern Scotland and the location is superb. Not only that, the secluded site, with two friendly goats as neighbours and aRead more lovely mountain stream nearby, add to the charm and ambience. We have stayed at many cottages over the years, but regard this as one of the best. Hide

Cabin is beautiful and had everything that we needed for the week. Hot tub is lovely. Loved sitting in the egg chair on the veranda listening to the stream and the birds. Sandy was very helpful and friendly with lots of suggestions on things to do and see.

We enjoyed our stay in this modern, top eqipped cottage. Everything was clean, barely used (next to new), and there was plenty of space in and around the house. The location was beautiful and quiet. The whole property was securely fenced so that our two dogs were not able to escape. Highly recommended.

Turns out we were the first people to stay at Cascade Cabin, and it was a real privilege. The Cabin is a 5-star wooden lodge built by its owner Sandy, and its evident he's a proper craftsman. The Cabin is beautiful and in a fabulous location. Its roomy, comfortable and luxurious and we loved it. Strathpeffer is well placed for visiting both East anRead mored West Highlands, so makes a good base when touring around, as we were. Definitely the place we'd stay at when we're in the area again.
