Set deep in the Scottish Highlands, on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park, this exceptional cottage provides a perfect base for Munro hiking, bike riding and adventures on scenic local lochs. With cosy wood burners and superbly snug furnishings, the property invites a six-guest group of family or friends to make memories together and stay in comfort.

Traditional detailing makes this cosy house a home, complete with plush soft furnishings draped throughout and fun decorative elements that add character. The property has an overall contemporary feel with clean white walls, quality fixtures and fresh tiling.

Well-appointed for staying toasty throughout colder month stays, the ground floor of this property offers two wood burners, one in the lounge and one in the dining room. Get ready to throw a log or two on the fire when curled up cosy on the sofa, switching on the Smart TV or enjoying a glass of whiskey over a great chat. The dining room offers bench-style seating to accommodate all at mealtimes and the narrow kitchen is a bespoke room with quality fittings painted in an on-trend shade. Just off this room is a handy utility room with laundry facilities and a porch where outdoor gear can be stowed. Completing the ground floor, a twin bedroom invites two guests to catch their forty winks at night.

Two further bedrooms, a delightful king and another twin, are located on the second floor, each with plenty of storage space and lovely linens. The king benefits from an en-suite and the twin is served by a modern family bathroom.

Outside, a tiered garden with mature flora, gravelled and stone-flagged areas and plenty of seating offers an opportune spot to bathe in the sunlight with a morning coffee or evening sundowner.

Corriebhuie is a fantastic cottage. The character of a traditional cottage is complimented by a modern kitchen, bathroom and en-suite. Location is perfect for exploring the area with various walks near by and a good base from which to go further. We visited Aviemore, Granton and Fort William as well as Wolftrax, the Highland Folk Museum,Druid an AiRead morerd, Pattack Falls, Loch Laggan for the Sandy beach and the Pictish fort on Dun da Lamh. Recommend this cottage for character and peaceful location. Hide
