Take a break away as a couple at this charming converted stable which has been thoughtfully furnished to offer a tranquil retreat near the town of Oban. Just 2 miles away, the town itself has plenty on offer, from being known as the ‘Seafood capital of Scotland’ to its distinctive whisky distillery where you can take a tour and learn all about the heritage of this Scottish spirit.

Enjoying open-plan living with a sleek country style, this romantic retreat is sure to have you feeling at home from the moment you step inside. The property has been decorated with pastel hues and natural wood bringing the space to life whilst light pours in through the windows and sliding doors.

All on one floor, this compact space has been cleverly utilised to ensure that you have everything you need during your stay. One end of the lodge is fitted with a beautiful pale blue kitchen including an oven and hob so that you can whip up breakfast, lunch and dinner. The two-seater dining table then offers a place to sit and tuck into your meals or get stuck into a friendly evening of playing board games. The centre of the room is filled with a sumptuous king-size bed where you’re sure to get a good night’s rest before enjoying the morning views from the comfort of your bed in the morning. This is a beautifully finished cottage in a lovely location, close to Oban. The owners are very responsive to any queries and made us feel very welcome.
