It's in an excellent location on the outskirts of Forres (1.5 miles), along the historic Morayshire coast, an area renowned for its stunning sandy beaches. The cottage sleeps up to four guests over its two bedrooms, making it ideal for a small family group or two couples holidaying together.

A gorgeous interior awaits at this welcoming family home, which showcases meticulous attention to detail, from the cohesive colour schemes to the patterned wallpaper and carefully chosen artwork. Bright shades create a cheerful atmosphere - look out for the lovely blue tiles in the kitchen and bathroom. Photos of the surrounding area whet your appetite for days out exploring.

Everything is on the one floor at this charming property, which has a welcoming lounge with a plush sofa and a cosy wood burner - perfect for keeping cosy on those dreich days. The views over the surrounding countryside are lovely from here, Cook up yummy family meals in the modern galley kitchen, which has a dining area at one end with a circular table. You'll have two bedrooms - a super-king-size and a second bedroom with twin beds that can be converted into a second super-king-size bed upon request. The family bathroom boasts an extra-deep Japanese-style bath and a drencher shower, adding a touch of luxury to your holiday bathing.

In good weather, head outside to the large garden for complete privacy and uninterrupted views of the open countryside and vast skies. Sip your morning coffee at the garden seating area or relax with a glass of wine at sunset. this property is not suitable children under the age of eight years old for several reasons including the unfenced deep pond in the owners garden , the unusually deep bath in the bathroom and the unguarded wood burning stove in the living room.

A beautifully appointed cottage. Living plants and fresh flowers give a home-from-home feel and the welcome extras left for us were particularly appreciated. The owners were also kind enough to forward on a little book which I left at the cottage by accident.

Whiterow Cottage is well-equipped to a high standard, with high quality furnishings and accessories which made our stay feel a little more luxurious. Although close to Forres town centre, the cottage has a remote feel, has a wonderful rural aspect through the large windows, and we took advantage of the nearby forest for walking. A fabulous cottage, in a relaxing setting. Wow this property was stunning, really home from home. Fully equipped and tastefully decorated- We loved seeing the deer who are regular visitors walking through the garden to get to their destination. A wonderful, calm, light and relaxing place to stay. Dcor, furnishings, bedding etc. etc, all to a high standard and tastefully done. Very private and peaceful but close to the amenities of Forres. Long distance views from within and very big skies to gaze at. Within a 20 minute drive there are several coastal gems to visit; clear seas, sandy beachRead morees but not overly commercialised at all. If you don't fancy driving, catch a train from Forres to Inverness, as we did, and be there in 30 mins. Hide

Whiterow cottage is a beautiful home with everything that you require plus many extras. The owners are friendly and generous. The large garden is peaceful and deer can even be seen in it. A great base for a holiday in Moray

The cottage is comfortable and beautifully decorated, with everything required for cooking. The location is stunning, with lots of surrounding space and access to the owners wonderful garden.

What a beautiful cottage and surrounding. Great location if you have a car. There is a bus stop not far from it too. Coffee shop (ks) is only 8 mins walk and does a great breakfast! And there is a co op in the same location as the Ks. Beach around is beautiful. A quiet, comfortable cottage to relax and recharge your batteries. Several places of interest to visit in the surrounding area. Golf courses and beaches close by. Forest walks. Very helpful owners nearby if there are any problems.
