The Scottish Highlands offer beautiful views from every angle, and this retreat, close to the small village of Kiltarlity and the famous Loch Ness, provides just that. Set in a secluded spot, within reach of the North Coast 500, this is the perfect location for escapists. Whether you are a family of three, a couple, or even fancy a solo trip in pure solitude, this is ideally located.

This single-storey lodge is beautifully styled with a bright and airy, open-plan living space. It is decorated with neutral tones throughout and each room has an opulent feel to it with contemporary furnishings. Two dogs are welcome along for the trip too, and countryside adventures aren’t far away. There truly is nothing within view of this property except for trees and rolling countryside.

After your legs are tired from busy days exploring the dramatic landscape, head into the hallway where you can kick off your boots and hang up your coats. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the living area offer great opportunities for wildlife watching and flood the space with light. The chich kitchen area is perfect for cooking up hearty stovies or Scotch pies to be enjoyed around the dining table. On chilly evenings, light up the wood burner-effect electric fire with infrared heating and curl up on the comfortable sofa or armchair. Climb into bed in one of the two bedrooms – a spacious master with a double bed and a Smart TV, and a cosy single bedroom. Completing the interior is a modern shower room with a walk-in shower.

Whether you fancy a morning coffee or an al fresco dinner, you can spend time soaking up the sounds and views from the garden. Bench-style seating is provided alongside a large lawn space. Private parking is provided for three cars.

Newly appointed very tastefully decorated cottage. Well equipped. Lovely and warm (we had quite a bit of snow ). Great shower. Fab place to spend New Year for a well deserved rest. Would benefit from a gate for dog owners.

We stayed for a week over Christmas, and what a lovely spot it is. The cottage is tastefully furnished with thought to detail. Well-appointed kitchen with everything you need. It has big windows in the living area with stunning views of the mountains and the forest, so even if the weather isn't great, you can still enjoy the landscape and not feel Read moreclosed in. I would 100% recommend this cottage. We had a very long travel day with 2 kids and it was wonderful to come relax there. We were there for 3 days and we loved it. It was clean, the area was great and loved all the natural light in the morning. Tracey was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed!

Lovely peaceful location with good walks around the area for us and our dog. The cottage was exceptionally clean, tidy and well equipped - a rarity these days! The furniture and beds were very comfortable. Our dogs settled in very quickly and loved looking out of the full length windows, they were occupied for hours! A beautiful comfortable cottage to return to after a busy day visiting family and sightseeing.
