This beautiful, charming cottage is set in a rural spot amongst the rolling Scottish Highlands. Two couples or a group of four friends, along with two canine companions are welcome to use this pretty home as a welcoming base when exploring the vast, luscious outdoors. From mountain tracks and forest walks to fishing and waterfall chasing, there is something for everyone.

Set in a terrace of stone cottages, many used as holiday homes, this property oozes farmhouse chic. Once used as a grocer’s store, this home has many traditional features combined with modern, country-style furnishings and decor. This is a welcoming environment for socialising or relaxing after busy days exploring.

Head inside to the hallway where you can hang up your coats and take off your walking boots. Immediately to your right is the inviting, spacious lounge. Fire up the wood burner and warm up while watching a movie from the comfortable sofas. The cottage’s kitchen has wood-panelled walls and a traditional security safe leftover from the building’s previous life as a local store. Prepare and cook delicious meals that can be eaten around the dining table set in front of the window that looks over to the rolling hills. Completing the ground floor is the property’s family shower room.

Climb the winding staircase to the first floor where the two inviting, spacious bedrooms are located. Set beneath sloping ceilings, both bedrooms are super cosy and have shutter-style windows, perfect for relaxing mornings in. The first bedroom contains a king-size bed and an ornamental fireplace with pretty tiles, and the second has a double bed with plenty of storage. A handy bookcase is located on the landing with a selection of books for you to enjoy.

Outdoors is a perfect, cottage-style garden which is fully enclosed, perfect for the dogs to sniff about. Take your culinary delights outside and tuck in to an al fresco meal or sip a morning coffee on the lawn bench and plan the day ahead. Guests also have fishing rights on the banks of the river located just behind the cottage. Private parking is available for two cars.
