A quaint bothy that has been tastefully decorated and provides an idyllic retreat for two seeking a quiet break in the spectacular Scottish Highlands. Chase waterfalls, embark on picturesque hikes, or simply enjoy the idyllic peace and quiet curled up in front of the wood burner.

This traditional cottage is situated at the end of a stone terrace of holiday homes and boasts a lovely outdoor terrace. Inside, the decor complements the natural surroundings, with neutral tones and wooden furnishings making this a welcoming home from home.

Hang up your coats in the handy porch, also useful for cleaning off your dogs after muddy walks, before being greeted by the open-plan living space. Fire up the antique-style wood burner and get warm while cosied up on the comfortable seating. The sofa doubles up as a bed if two others join you. A breakfast bar is located in front of the bright windows, where you can sip a morning coffee and tuck into a hearty breakfast as you admire the luscious surroundings. The kitchenette is located at the back of the living area and has everything you need to whip up quick meals or prepare culinary concoctions.

Upstairs is the bright and airy bedroom. Set beneath sloping ceilings, there are two single beds, perfect for a solid rest after busy days exploring. The shower room leads off here and has a sumptuous corner shower alongside a sink and WC.

Outside, to the side of the bothy, is a private decked area which has comfortable seating and a fire pit/BBQ. Spend evenings dining alfresco and stargazing in the beautiful skies above. Private parking is available for two cars, and guests here also have fishing rights on the banks of the Black Water River.

Loved to stay here (as a solo), perfect little cottage, quiet and peaceful. Nice hikes close by. Loved to have a fireplace in the evenings

Very comfortable wee cottage. Might be a bit small for four adults but suited us as a couple ideally. It was well equipped and extra touches like a bottle of wine made it really special
