This spectacular chalet is a true gem of a holiday home in the Scottish Borders, with its sweeping countryside views that you can admire through the huge lounge windows. It’s located on an organic farm just 2.5 miles from the charming town of Kelso, creating a convenient holiday home where you can enjoy both urban and rural experiences. Go for long walks and cycle rides nearby, tuck into lunch in a friendly traditional pub or visit scenic historical sites such as Kelso Abbey.

The single-storey dwelling is made of attractive wood and decorated in a stylish and modern manner, with quality Scandi-style furniture and a gentle colour scheme of white, greys and blues. It offers comfortable open-plan living, with its floor-to-ceiling picture patio windows offering panoramic vistas that are sure to soothe your soul during your stay.

In the spacious living, kitchen and dining area, which is flooded with natural sunlight, you’ll have an inviting corner sofa, a TV and a cosy wood burner to keep you all cosy during the chilly months. The modern kitchen, positioned down one side, has everything you need for self-catering, and there’s a farmhouse-style dining table and chairs for enjoying meals together. When you’re tired out from all that exploration, retire to one of the two roomy bedrooms – one king-size and one twin – both feature patio doors so you can absorb those serene views as soon as you wake up each morning. A contemporary shower room with a walk-in shower completes the accommodation.

In good weather, you’ll love making the most of the wonderful decked area outside, where you can dine in the fresh air and sink your limbs into the wood-fired hot tub. Venture out to the meadow-style garden, filled with stunning organic sunflowers during the summer months.

We had a wonderful two weeks stay in one of the cottages. We enjoyed very much staying in a lovely countryside with pheasants and hares, had wonderful walks in great nature, felt happy and warm in the evenings with the log fire and the hot tub. We had a warm welcome and the owners were friendly and helpful in every situation - We really missed noRead morething! Hide
