The property is well located for access to Strathpeffer, cafes, wine bars. It is well secluded with attractive seating areas to the front and rear which makes clever use of the changing levels of the site. The accommodation was clean and comfortable with excellent furniture. The welcome pack was much appreciated and the brochure describing local atRead moretractions was excellent. The location is ideal for exploring the Moray coast as well as to the south and north. A trip to Ullapool is also an easy option. Overall the property is an excellent choice for exploring an attractive area. Hide

5 night stay, May 2026. A perfect holiday retreat. Strathpeffer was a very small friendly Spa town, conveniently situated for travelling out to a number of areas, coast, town, rivers and forest. It also had its own attractions, local walks, shops and eateries. Highfield Lodge was one of the nicest self catering places we have ever stayed in. QuiRead moreet, very clean, comfortable, very spacious and had all the little extra things like coat hooks, ironing board and clothes airer. ( we were touring Scotland for 4 wks so this gave us a chance to do some washing) The simple but well tended garden areas were a lovely bonus and access for off loading the car was perfect. Just a shame we werent staying longer. Many thanks. Hide

We regularly stay around the Highlands and Highfield Lodge is definitely one of the best places we've stayed. The property is really well equipped, with a good heating system so even in mid winter it was very cosy. The combined living room and dining area is quite spacious. The upper floor has another sitting room space opening up onto a patio and Read moreback garden. For a small place it feels like you have lots of space. I enjoyed the huge bed upstairs and my daughter was very comfortable on the fold out bed downstairs. It's tucked into a quiet spot in the village, so although its surrounded by houses, it feels quite secluded and certainly very quiet. There is car parking at the front, and only a very short walk to shops, cafes and other village amenities. There are also some good walks from the property, or take a short drive into the surrounding mountains and lochs. For the price we paid, this was a super great deal. The owners live next door, so a minor issue we had got sorted out immediately. After that, everything was perfect. We even decided to stay for an extra night as we enjoyed it so much. Hide
