Absolutely fantastic place. The hot tub was already pre-heated which we didn't expect and was a nice surprise. Lovely miniature whisky bottles as a welcome gift - we grabbed a bottle on the way back at the nearby distillery :) There were also bathrobes and disposable slippers in the bathroom, came in handy for the hot tub. Great quirky lodge. Good hosts, respecting privacy but on hand when needed. Limited storage so recommend taking only essential clothes. Fab hot tub and outdoor bbq - both used a lot. Our dog was very happy in the very well enclosed garden.

Not dog friendly as they are not allowed to run freely in the enclosed area! We were told by Steve the owner seconds after arriving not to let the dogs on the gravel, as it stains it! Also the owners house is right next to the lodge which doesnt show in any photos. We thought we would have complete privacy. It felt like Big Brother.
