Bring together family and friends for a holiday to remember in this luxurious rural retreat, 3.5 miles from the Scottish town of Blairgowrie. The property sleeps eight guests across four stylish bedrooms and has a sociable, open-plan layout and a vast outdoor area for entertaining. The surrounding landscape is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, with a myriad of walking and cycling trails to explore through the Perthshire countryside. You’ll also be just 17 miles from the southern edge of Cairngorms National Park, with its network of dramatic walking trails. Perthshire is renowned for its excellent fishing opportunities and guests can arrange salmon fishing along a private stretch of the River Ericht.

The single-storey stone lodge provides a luxurious backdrop to your holiday, with a fabulous collection of contemporary furniture, opulent fixtures and fittings, and bespoke design elements throughout the property. Large picture windows flood the house with natural light and frame far-reaching rural views.

Stone steps or a ramp lead to the property. Inside, the open-plan accommodation is arranged in a U-shape design, allowing you to easily flow from one area to the next and spend quality time together. The heart of the home is a magnificent lounge/kitchen/diner with a vaulted ceiling, wooden floors, and vast windows enabling panoramic countryside views. Rustle up hearty breakfasts and delicious dinners in the sleek kitchen area and gather under the statement light fittings at the dining table for dinner parties and family celebrations (private catering can also be arranged with the owner). A cosy, dual-aspect wood burner separates this space from the striking lounge with its floor-to-ceiling window, stylish L-shaped sofa, and comfortable armchairs – the perfect place to relax and share stories. Alternatively, retreat to the snug to read your book or enjoy a movie on the Smart TV. When it’s time for bed, choose from four gorgeous super-king-size bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities. One of the bedrooms has a wet room and has been designed to suit guests with limited mobility. Completing the accommodation is a large utility room where you can store all your outdoor gear.

Outside, the enclosed garden has a choice of seating areas on the terrace, as well as furniture and a BBQ for dining alfresco. Beyond the terraced area is a vast lawn that’s perfect for playing outdoor games or for four-pawed guests to burn off steam. After a long walk, sink into the bubbling hot tub and soak up the peace and tranquillity of this stunning rural retreat. The property has private parking for up to six cars.

This is a fabulous very spacious cottage in very peaceful surroundings. We were all so impressed when Andrew, manager, told us he built the cottage. The building and interior design have been well thought out and are to a very high standard with lots of lovely little touches including some of the stone work exposed inside as a feature.The cottage iRead mores just the most perfect place to relax, so much natural light in the main living area. The kitchen had everything we needed and a lovely welcome pack. We all slept so well in the very comfortable beds and enjoyed the complimentary toiletries which had a fabulous scent. My grandson said this was by far the best cottage we have stayed at. I would highly recommend this cottage. Hide

Without a doubt the best cottage weve ever stayed inand weve stayed in many. We were genuinely blown away by the space, privacy, and high-quality finish throughout, all set in an incredibly peaceful location. The river walks were perfect for the dogs, and its clearly an excellent spot for fishing as well. We would absolutely love to return.

Fabulous holiday home . It felt like home . It was beautifully designed . The home had everything you could think of . We had a lovely day at the Aberfeldy whiskey experience . A beautiful house with superb finishings. Luxury! Andrew was so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed for Christmas. The location was also great for exploring Balmoral Castle, St Andrews and more.

We stayed a week at the beautiful Steading near Blairgowrie. The property itself is stunning, full of charm, big and spacious with everything you need. The beds are comfortable and the showers are great. The decor is really amazing. The setting was peaceful and relaxing, with gorgeous views. You can tell real care has gone into making guests feel wRead moreelcome. The walks around the area are stunning. Andrew was on hand for anything we needed and was kind and really helpful. The pictures on the website don't do the cottage justice. It's even better than this in real life. I'm sure everyone who visits says that they could move in permanently, so it's no surprise, that we felt we could do just that. No matter the weather this retreat is just the ideal spot. We would however, perhaps worry about the camber of the apprRead moreoach roads if it was icy or snowy. We had a thoroughly relaxing countryside break. Thank you. Hide
