We had a lovely week in The Honey House over the New Year period. The house was warm and welcoming on arrival which was great as it was dark and cold outside and we appreciated the welcome gifts for us. We particularly liked the lights on timer which came on in the evening so we didn't have to remember to leave any lights on. During the week, thRead moree house was always warm, even in December, and there was plenty of room for the 5 of us. The house is well equipped with everything you need and more and the photos don't do it justice. It is easy to get everywhere using the house as a base to explore the Borders and it was great to come back to somewhere so welcoming. Although we didn't meet the owners, we had several lovely messages from them and they were available if needed on the end of the phone. We would definitely come back to this house in the future. We had a fantastic week at Honey House, it was the perfect base for our Scottish Borders adventure. Only 20/25 mins away from lovely deserted beaches and similar distance from some great salmon finishing (although the fish beat us last week!). The house is modern well equipped and would easily accommodate 8 adults . It has a lovely private garden wRead morehich we didn't really utilise but i would imagine this would be great in the summer. There's a great village pub (with lovely food) a few hundred yard away, Hazel & Nick were very helpful and we loved nice little welcome gifts (Nelly Hide
