Set in the peaceful village of Daviot, this charming property makes a delightful bolthole for solo travellers, couples or small families enjoying a quiet break in a picturesque corner of the Scottish Highlands. Within easy reach of Culloden, Loch Ness and Inverness, this light-filled and breezy retreat was newly built in 2024 and is surrounded by idyllic countryside.

Stepping inside this elegantly arranged holiday retreat, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner provides an ideal space to unwind in. The light-filled lounge has ample seating and a Smart TV, with a breakfast bar offering a relaxing spot for a romantic meal. The charming kitchen is fully equipped, and there's a useful sofa bed for additional guests. You will also find a sleek ground-floor shower room.

The staircase leads up directly into the first-floor bedroom, a bright and tastefully decorated space with a high sloping ceiling and light streaming in through the skylights. This wonderful room features a sumptuous king-size bed, ample storage and a dressing table/workspace.

French doors lead from the main living area and out into the garden, which wraps around the property. To the front, there's a bench looking out across the lawn, which has plenty of space for younger guests to run around. To the side of the cottage, a gravelled area features a table and chairs, offering an ideal spot for dining alfresco on a sunny afternoon. Private parking is available for two cars.

We were really disappointed as there was no freezer either separate or in the fridge compartment and no washing machine as advertised the hoover needed charging there was no instructions for any of the appliances or heating and as above equipment
