A beautifully renovated, adults-only romantic semi detached cottage for two in the village of Brodick on the Isle of Arran. The cottage has outstanding views out to the sea and the hills and is perfectly placed for exploring Arran’s wild coastline and its rugged mountainous interior. The cottage is set back from the road in beautiful mature gardens, making it a real escape from the world with plenty of privacy and space just to kick back and enjoy the views. It will suit those looking to simply relax as much as those looking for an active break, with excellent hill-walking, golfing and cycling on hand. The centre of Brodick is less than 1 mile away. There, you’ll find a choice of pubs, shops and restaurants, and a harbour with ferries to Ardrossan.

The cottage is all one level. The entrance is at the back, through patio doors that lead into the open-plan living space. This cosy, well-equipped room has been perfectly constructed to make the most of the space and has everything two people will need for an easy, relaxing break. There is a comfortable sofa, coffee table and TV with streaming services for evenings at home. The kitchen area is equipped with everything you’ll need to cook up a hearty breakfast or romantic dinner, eaten at the dining table for two. There is a twin bedroom with lovely sea views and an en-suite shower room.

Outside, the property has a private patio garden with furniture. It’s the ideal spot for outdoor breakfasts, evening drinks and afternoons enjoying the sun. There is ample parking.

A superb place to stay. The owners are so welcoming and make you feel at home as soon as you arrive. The accommodation is beautiful, a perfect retreat for two with lovely views, in an excellent location and with everything provided for a self catering holiday. The outside area is a peaceful place to relax and the garden is a delight.

We would strongly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a home from home. There is everything in the property you would need and more. Inside and outside is beautiful. Anne and John are amazing hosts they also have great knowledge of the surrounding areas in Arran. Their property is set in Brodick and the views are amazing. The golf Read morecourse, sea and the beach are a hop skip and a jump from their house as you can see them from your bedroom window Bliss!!! Hide

A wonderful place to stay. Overlooking the bay. Very comfortable and great attention to detail in the fixtures and fittings. Anne and John were perfect hosts with a wealth of useful information and provided a delicious welcome hamper! We would have no hesitation in recommending it.

What a delightful place to stay at on Arran. A lovely welcome from Anne and John instantly made us feel at home. A generous welcome basket was a real treat. The accommodation is perfect for two people, with everything you need. It was warm, cosy and spotlessly clean. It's in an ideal spot , 10 minutes walk into Brodick, where there are plenty of shRead moreops and restaurants. If we return to this wonderful island we wouldn't hesitate in booking St Minver again. Hosts were friendly and attentive. Accommodation had everything you need and the welcome pack was an added bonus. The location was perfect and within walking distance of all amenities. Beautiful views of Brodick bay and Goat Fell. We would highly recommend the property.

St Minver had everything you could want. Beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting. Nothing was too much trouble for Anne & John who own the cottage. We can't wait to come back.

Suffice to say this was our fifth visit to this accommodation and as always house garden and alfresco sitting areas front and back in pristine condition and we look forward to our two visits next year
