Its a beautiful little place. Very cosy and comfortable and whilst its not big has everything that one might need. We also really loved how quiet it was round there. The beach was a 10min walk and we saw a sum total of 4 people down there in the 6 days we were there. Nicky and Pete were top hosts always on hand for advice on the island and the locaRead morel area. And the farm dogs always on hand for some stick throwing action! Hide

This is a working farm. Some of the farm buildings have been made into cosy accommodation. There is a log fire for chilly days and a snazzy wet room cum bathroom combo. The Bothy enjoys magnificent views of the Firth of Clyde and Peter our host was kindness itself. If you like dogs this is Pooch Paradise. Step out the door and an armada of excited Read moredogs are swirling around your feet looking to be entertained. If you just want to quietly sit out and sketch or read its possibly its not for you. The location and the hosts really made our stay. As a working farm there was a lot going on, the dogs were adorable as was the wildlife on the farm - bats, birds, squirrels as well as the farm animals. The farm goes down to the beach, and felt like a ready-made destination so we didn't always have to go in search of places to visit.
