Heading south, the historic city of Perth (7.5 miles) has a wealth of traditional pubs, great restaurants and friendly cafes, with a range of popular landmarks including Scone Palace, the Black Watch Castle and Museum, and the Perth Theatre and Concert Hall. The peaceful Kinclaven Bluebell Woods are to the north (5 miles). Dunkeld (10 miles) is well worth a day visit and offers some lovely coffee shops and restaurants. Pitlochry and Aberfeldy are both an easy drive reachable within 27 miles.
