This stunning detached house overlooking the Moray Firth near Inverness in the Scottish Highlands is the perfect property for friends or families to relax together in style. Lovingly refurbished with contemporary décor, the house is light and airy throughout with beautiful views of the Moray Firth across to Kessock Bridge and the Black Isle. With private access on to the beach, you’ll have front row seats to watch the resident seals playing and relaxing in their natural habitat. You may even be lucky enough to see the pod of bottlenose dolphins that have made this their home – it’s one of the best places in Europe to see these delightful creatures. Despite the tranquillity and feeling of isolation here, you are only 2 miles from the historic, estate village of Culloden and 3.5 miles from the Scottish Highlands’ capital, Inverness, which has all the benefits of a city, but with a more relaxed approach to life. After a busy day exploring, this property has the advantage of its own BBQ hut and a private Hydrotherapy hot tub, which offers the best place to watch the spectacular sunsets on a clear evening.

Situated on a large plot on the banks of the Inverness Firth, this property boasts plenty of space. Its beach-hut style exterior reflects the coastal location and instantly creates the sense of somewhere to relax and soak up the surroundings. On entering the property, you’ll find yourself in a spacioud king-size bedroom with a double sofa bed and TV. Also off the hallway is the stylish bathroom, complete with roll-top bath and separate shower. Next to this is the handy utility room, which is somewhere to store and wash wet weather gear. The large, bright, well-equipped kitchen/dining room has been beautifully designed and is completed by amazing views.

A few steps lead down to the main lounge which has a contemporary wood burner for those chilly, Scottish evenings and floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the panoramic sea views. French doors lead out to the garden.

Back through the hallway are four more bedrooms: two king-size, one double and one quirky bunk-bed room. All the bedrooms have their own style and have been finished to a high standard to create somewhere calm and relaxing to rest at the end of a busy day. These two king-size rooms have TVs and stylish en-suite shower rooms for an added sense of luxury.

Outside, tucked in the corner of the spacious lawn there is a stunning, circular BBQ hut and a Hydrotherapy hot tub, making this property even more special. From here, you can also access the beach.

  • 5 bedrooms – 3 king-size, 1 double, 1 bunk bedroom
  • 1 bathroom and 2 en-suite shower rooms
  • Electric range oven and gas hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer
  • Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer
  • Private Hydrotherapy hot tub

We had an amazing stay in this lovely house which is tucked away in the most peaceful spot - a hidden retreat completely away from the hustle and bustle of Inverness. And our first impressions were that the property easily lived up to the promise of what wed seen online. The kitchen, dining and lounge area is a superb social space, bright and spacRead moreious, really well laid out. All the bedrooms are a good size and very nicely furnished and the house is equipped with pretty much everything youll need for a short stay. The en suites are a fantastic size and having three bathrooms in total, means that it doesnt take too long for everybody to get ready for their day ahead. The hot tub and BBQ hut provide a luxurious touch, however the hut could use an exterior light for these still dark evenings. The welcome information mentions that logs are supplied, though we never found any, we were able to get some at Tesco, Eastfield, just a few minutes along the road, so no big issue. I do want to gently mention that while the beds all had fresh linen and there was an abundance of clean towels, the general cleaning of the house didnt quite match the standard of the rest of the property. There was noticeable dust in several rooms, and especially under the dining table. Some food/snack remains between the cushions of the corner sofa and there were even toenail clippings on the carpet in the corner of the front facing double bedroom (next door to the bunk bed room). None of this ruined our stay, just stood out given how lovely the house is otherwise. Theres a couple of wee maintenance niggles - one being the sliding doors of the wardrobe in the large en suite bedroom sticking badly, the spinning washer fitting on the top deck of the dishwasher comes loose with every cycle, a few loose window handles and some of the grout and silicone in the bathrooms are in need of a refresh. Outside there are a few damaged pavers on the patio and some paintwork needs touching up. These are all minor things, but theyre the sort of details that make the difference between a great stay and a five-star experience. Overall this is a wonderful property in an excellent location and we genuinely enjoyed our stay here. Hide

We had a wonderful time at Pebble Beach. Beautiful views, right by the beach, in a very quiet location, yet just a few driving minutes away from the amenities of Inverness. The house is spacious and well equipped with everything you need for a self-catering stay. We'd love to come back one day.
