Enjoy a rural break in the Scottish Highlands with a stay at this luxury croft in the Cairngorms National Park. The property is perfect for breaks all year round, where you can cosy up in front of the wood burner in the winter or enjoy the hot tub in the private garden during the summer. Comfortably sleeping eight guests, it is ideal for a long-awaited get-together with friends, with two sofa beds sleeping three extra guests making it ideal for extended family holidays.

The property has been finished to a high standard throughout, with a contemporary kitchen and bathrooms giving a modern feel. The house is quite minimalist in style, opting for wide open spaces that make the rooms feel even more spacious with a stone fireplace and cosy wood burner adding a traditional touch. Windows throughout let light flood in whilst giving you spectacular views of the surrounding greenery.

The ground floor of this delightful house boasts an extremely versatile open-plan living space, containing a living room, dining room and kitchen, as well as a cosy snug with folding partition doors. This can be kept separate to give adults and younger guests two different spaces to relax, or the doors can be kept open to increase this sociable space. The gable end of the room features floor-to-ceiling windows with remarkable views out to the garden and French doors leading outside. To the other side of the room is a modern kitchen with stylish charcoal units and a large dining table. Two bedrooms can be accessed on this floor, including one spacious double with a pull-out sofa bed, comfortably sleeping three guests.

Head upstairs to find the remaining bedrooms, which include a king-size room with a double pull-out sofa bed and a twin room. All of the bedrooms have been thoughtfully decorated, with original wooden flooring, antique wardrobes and wrought iron beds all contributing to the wonderful traditional style of the home. Sit with a book at the window seat in the king-size bedroom, where you can enjoy some peace and quiet as the rest of the family busy themselves downstairs.

The property offers a stunning outdoor space, and as it’s located on a working farm you can expect to enjoy the sound of animals and wildlife from the comfort of your garden. Plan a summer party for one of the nights during your stay, where you can fire up the BBQ, settle down on the garden furniture to dine alfresco and then take a dip in the luxurious private hot tub for the end to a perfect evening.

The house is truly stunning and the photos on the website don't really do it justice - it really has wow factor and we regretted not having booked two weeks instead of one - none of us wanted to leave. It was such a treat to sit in the hot tub at the end of each day and listen to the wildlife. Great location too, as there are so many beautiful placRead morees not that far away. We cannot recommend this holiday let enough - it is the best one we have stayed in for over thirty years of renting holiday homes. It was in the perfect position for visiting the coast, and the Lochs as well as having the most gorgeous scenery literally on your door step. The scenery on the way to Balmoral was just breath-taking. We stayed for Read moretwo weeks and I could have remained there! Fell in love with the Cairngorms and Granstown-on-Spey. The home itself was far more than the description depicts on the advertising sites and has far more things available to you. There is a separate laundry room, there is availability of putting bikes in a shed adjacent to the property, the beds are super comfortable. We had the most memorable stay and will be returning. Thank you Heather for providing such a comfortable home. Hide

Fabulous stay in the Highlands. The house is great, spacious (we were a family of 5) and it has lots of extras you need already (condiments for the kitchen and for cooking) which make a difference when self catering. The setting is wonderful and we love being around Aviemore and this is a great base for the region. Being north of Aviemore (only a 2Read more0 minute drive from here) meant that its 40 minutes to Nairn which was a great beach day out. Lots of great walks to do, will look to come back! Hide
