Ideally located for a true escape to nature, this outstanding lodge is the perfect base for your Highlands holiday. Sleeping an impressive 20 guests and with additional on-site cottages available to rent for extra guests, this property is perfectly suited to a large family reunion or group of friends on a fishing or shooting holiday.  At 13 miles from the nearest town, you can rest assured that you’ll be enjoying the utmost seclusion and privacy.

This incredible lodge is impressive both inside and out, with antique furnishings and traditional country elements giving the home a truly rural feel. You’ll find the reception hall adorned with mounted deer heads, gothic-style chandeliers and deep patterned rugs in a typical hunting lodge style. This vast home benefits from central heating throughout and two open fireplaces, ensuring that you feel warm and cosy in even the coldest of months.

Enter via a stunning entrance hall, where you’ll find the first warming fireplace. This floor features a spacious kitchen equipped for professional caterers and with a casual dining table for a relaxed snack or breakfast. There’s also a regal dining room with large windows and an impressive dining table for celebratory dinners with the entire family. Two of the property’s bedrooms can be found on this floor, both of which are twin rooms with en-suite facilities and can be linked internally as a suite. One of these is a bedroom with increased accessibility.

Head upstairs via the wide staircase to access the sitting room and eight further bedrooms. The lounge is a spacious area with comfy sofas and armchairs facing a second open fireplace. The absence of a TV encourages guests to catch up, play the piano or get stuck into a good book. This floor accomodates five double rooms and three twins, all of which are decorated with antique furnishings such as wrought iron bedsteads or beautiful dressing tables. Each of these bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom, where roll-top bathtubs further this antique style.

This home is set on the extensive 19,000-acre Kildermorie Estate, so there’s an abundance of outdoor space on offer to enjoy. Relax in the lawn directly behind the lodge and perhaps fire up the gas BBQ on a warmer summer’s evening.

Meall Mhor is a steading conversion into a 10-bedroom house, all bedrooms en-suite, ample kitchen, dining and living areas, plus games room. It is very remote and visitors need to enjoy outdoor activities, of which walking, cycling, and swimming (with wetsuits) are excellent. A beautiful lodge on an amazing estate. The gamekeepers are super helpful and friendly. The pictures dont do it justice! We loved our stay and enjoyed fishing on a loch nearby free of charge. Highly recommend staying here

Meall Mor Lodge exceeded our expectations and more. We were work colleagues celebrating a retirement and it was the ideal venue. The location was stunning, as was the lodge. Magda and Kris were great hosts and we knew if we needed anything theyd go out their way to provide it. Thank you for a great stay and we hope to return soon!

Absolutely amazing estate! We had a great time! Spotless and always helpful before and during our stay. The surrounding countryside is beautiful. Really enjoyed the loch.
