A folding table is also available should you require additional seating space. We had a wonderful stay at The Byre. It is well.equipped, cosy, comfortable and very peaceful. The views are wonderful and the night skies just amazing. All our communication with the owners was easy and we thoroughly appreciated our welcome pancakes and jam. It was a very relaxing break and we really had to tear ourselves away.

We enjoyed the tranquility, the views and walks over the hills and all the animals around. We've never seen so many pheasants on one spot before. It's a grea place to be - we would recemmend Caroline's cottage to our friends and everyone, who loves nature.

We had a fantastic break at the Byre. We loved the isolation and the quiet peaceful location. Edzell is a lovely little village and there so many places to visit in the local area. After having a car accident on the way to the cottage Caroline and Graham were super kind and helpful hosts, ensuring we had food basics while we waited for a hire car. The cottage is beautiful and set in stunning scenery with the farm sheep and cattle to keep you amused, but then the wildlife rabbits, stoats, Red squirrel, birds of prey, crazy stuRead morepid pheasants and bats it was a joy to watch. Even just watching the light or mist hit the hills was breathtaking. The amenities inside had everything we needed - bed was very comfy. We visited the nearby area with lovely food in Edzell Sinclairs Larder and Tweedies. We would highly recommend this cottage. If you are not so mobile like my wife you will need a car, if you are walkers you are going to be thrilled with whats on your doorstep. Hide

What an amazing place to stay!! The Byre is beautifully designed and tastefully decorated.
