Sitting in the expansive grounds of the private Estate, this detached three-bedroom stone cottage is perfect for families or groups of friends seeking a luxurious base from which to explore the Highland countryside. Enjoy walks through the estate grounds straight from the front door or follow the path to tranquil Loch, hidden away in the woodlands. Spend your days hunting for Nessie, discovering ancient castles and walking the spectacular Highlands before returning to your cosy cottage.

Formerly the estate gardener’s cottage, your charming stone holiday home boasts comfortable accommodation with plenty of space for the whole party. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining room is a generous space for socialising together around the open fire. All the bedrooms benefit from en-suites, making this the ideal location for friends holidaying together.

Approached via a gravel driveway, step into the open-plan ground-floor living space, decorated in neutral tones with bright splashes of colour. At one end of the spacious room is the well-equipped kitchen where you will find everything you need to produce your meals. Share leisurely suppers around the centrally positioned dining table before snuggling up in the plump sofas for an evening of conversation as the logs crackle in the open fire. The first of the bedrooms is on this floor, a light and airy double room with en-suite bathroom. There’s also a handy utility room and WC on this level too.

Ascend the central stairs to the first floor where you will find two pretty twin bedrooms both with en-suite shower rooms. There is also a games room in the garage next door with access to a pool table, bar, darts, air hockey and table tennis.

Dine alfresco in your private garden on sunny evenings and sip a glass of wine as the sun goes down. Your cottage backs onto a large lawn area, perfect for picnics and garden games and younger guests will enjoy the swings.

An amazing cottage, well situated for exploring Inverness and surrounding areas. Well furnished in an amazing landscape with stunning vistas from the cottage and garden, it was the perfect location for our scottish adventure. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back again sometime for another visit.

We had a lovely staying at Garden cottage. A great strategic point to visit the area and amazing to enjoy a relaxing time. The cottage is spacious, comfortable and nice to host a large group, we were three adults and two children (11 and 7 yo) and all had enjoyed time playing togheter and having walks. Lovely cosy cottage with large kitchen and great open fire (we were there when it was snowing so it felt particularly lovely). Bedrooms were large and comfortable all with en-suites. Good to have a washing machine too. Very quiet location.

Fabulous cottage in a very scenic area. Cottage very well equipped. Comfy beds and good showers. Garden grassed and enclosed. We had a lovely time here, sometimes just returning to the cottage and chilling.

Overall we were very happy with the house in the beautiful surroudings at Farr Estate, well located, with its own characteristics. Beautiful view on a large field with cows and sheep, a living work of art. Well equiped, clean.

Beautiful cottage and location, perfectly appointed for touring the local area. Welcome pack was a nice touch with the freshest eggs from the estate. We stayed as a couple with our two dogs, they were equally well catered for and loved the enclosed garden.

I feel like we have found a hidden gem in Gardeners Cottage, this was a lovely place to stay for New Year. The house was so warm and cosy. Don't worry about there being no mobile signal, the WiFi coverage was fantastic although with all games and books that were supplied, you can ignore the outside and just chill in front of the open fire. We stayed at Garden Cottage as a family group of six, spanning 3 generations, age 5 to age 74 and everyone thought the cottage was super comfy, very homely, with a lovely garden and all set in fantastic grounds. The facilities were brilliant and would we go back, we are talking about our next visit already.
