An excellent family farmhouse set on a private estate in glorious solitude. This elegant property sleeps eight guests and two precious pups across four bedrooms and is perfect for large families, two families or a party of friends. Young and old alike will love the games room, complete with table tennis and a football table, while the adventurers of the group will enjoy trekking the waymarked routes through coastal and forest landscapes in Argyll's Secret Coast.

A traditional country style flows through every room in this property, offering a beautiful and bright retreat with characterful touches. Admire the original fireplace and lap up the rustic landscapes through the dual-aspect windows. With a heady mix of cream walls and warm wooden floors, this delightful accommodation is a cosy escape to come home to.

Enter into this wonderful cottage and leave all the walking gear on the handy front porch or in the utility. Settle yourself on the sofa in the welcoming lounge and switch on the TV to catch up with the day's events, or throw open the French doors and bring the outdoors in while you gaze out at the loch vista.

Head into the country-style kitchen and begin the preparations for a family meal, which can be devoured at the kitchen table or in the more formal dining room, which is perfect for those helping yourselves to those mountains of gravy-covered tatties or tasty bowls of cranachan. This kitchen has everything you could possibly need and more.

On chilly evenings, strike up a fire and enjoy marshmallows with a movie, or make extra use of the dining table for board games and catch-ups. Once you've bathed and changed into your cosiest pyjamas, you can climb into one of the four bedrooms laid across two floors.

Wander out into the garden, where you can lose yourself in the views of the loch, joined by your morning cup of tea. Play games with the children in the enclosed courtyard, or let them roam while you recline on the well-positioned seating. With 1,800 acres to explore, this farmhouse on the Otter Estate is a brilliant retreat for walkers, hikers and wildlife enthusiasts.

We had a wonderful holiday - 4 adults, 4 kids, 2 dogs. The house is spacious and the enclosed garden and courtyard is great. We'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a rural escape and would love to come back again in the future.

We had a lovely week at Fearnoch Cottage despite the weather. The view from the cottage and the surrounding scenery are beautiful. The garden is well maintained and it was perfect for our dog. The nearby beach is an added bonus, just a 10 min walk away. If you are looking for a complete switch off Fearnoch Cottage is ideal.

We had a truly relaxing holiday at the farmhouse with everything we required at hand. The stunning scenery is a big bonus and the beach is only a 5 minute walk away. Wellies are essential though as the farm trail can become waterlogged with the rain. If you want a truly relaxing break this is the place to stay.
