Experience the incredible beauty of the North-West Highlands from this character-laden house near Gairloch in Wester Ross. Sleeping 10 guests, the gorgeous, five-bedroom, 18th-century holiday home captures views out across picturesque Flowerdale Bay. Combining exquisite original features with a stylish finish, it is perfect for large groups of friends or relatives who have been seeking a truly unique Scottish escape.

Make your way into the magnificent, three-storey house to find welcoming accommodation with exposed beams and stonework. From the hall, follow the steps down to the inviting kitchen/diner, where everything has been carefully designed to ensure you have all you require for whipping up tasty meals for your party with the ingredients you have bought. Gather round the table in here or congregate in the dining room for your celebratory dinners. There is also a bar/snug at this level, where you can pour yourselves a drink and unwind in front of the crackling wood burner. Climb the stairs to the first floor to spread out in the lounge instead. Find a good film on the Smart TV in here for everyone to enjoy later on. The family shower room is close by. Your bedrooms, one king-size, three doubles and a twin, are all arranged across this floor and the one above. Two of the bedrooms have splendid en-suite bathrooms, with free-standing baths, while the remaining three have en-suite shower rooms. Share a bottle of wine out in the small courtyard on summer evenings. There is parking here for five cars.

Head less than 1 mile to Gairloch’s magnificent, secluded beach to swim, surf or take in the views. Spectacular Red Point Beach is 10.5 miles from the cottage. Take a boat trip out from the harbour, 0.5 miles away, in the hope of seeing whales, dolphins or even basking sharks.

Well, a great place for us (10 of us from 6 years to 94 years and two dogs). More than adequate facilities and equipment and positioned in a great place for the beach (we were in the sea on 3 consecutive days - could have been more but we had other places to visit). I can't really add to this without being over the top - it was an ideal fit for uRead mores and we'll be back hopefully sooner rather than later. Hide

Lovely historic building refurbished to a high standard. We loved the fully equipped kitchen and private bar with stove. Hope fully we will get the opportunity to return to this beautiful place.
