Surrounded by stunning scenery, this timber-clad cabin is a cosy base for couples or small families to explore Scotland’s fabulous west coast. After boat trips, distillery visits or walks around nearby lochs, you can settle beside the wood burner and unwind as you admire unforgettable hillside views.
The single-storey lodge combines rustic charm with modern comfort in a scenic rural setting. Take three steps up to the doors that lead into the bright, open-plan living area, in which floor-to-ceiling windows frame incredible vistas. Light the wood burner, sink into the comfortable seating and switch on the Smart TV for the ultimate in relaxing evenings. When you’re ready to cook, the kitchen has all the appliances you’ll need, including a dishwasher and a microwave. There’s also a handy washer/dryer to keep outdoor gear pristine. Enjoy your food at the dining table, which sits next to the windows for peaceful views. Along the hallway are two flexible bedrooms, each with zip-and-link beds that can be arranged as either super-king-size or twin rooms on request. There’s also a sofa bed in the lounge for additional guests. A family shower room completes the interior. Surrounding the cabin is a spacious garden, offering plenty of space for children and pets to play safely while you sip a morning coffee or a sundowner and take in the views. You’ll also have ample private parking.
The cabin is set amidst delightful scenery, with Tralaig, Melfort and Scammadale lochs all within 6 miles, offering scenic walking and an abundance of wildlife. The Oban Distillery is 12.5 miles away, and the seaside town of Oban – Scotland’s seafood capital – is 13 miles away. Here you can explore great shops and incredible places to eat, or head out on a day trip to one of the islands of the Inner Hebrides.
