Accessed via two steps and spread out across one level, this self-catering lodge in Lairg is a fantastic base for families and friends of all generations. Homely yet uncluttered and boasting jaw-dropping views from every window, it is as soothing for the soul as it is captivating for the eye. Once plates have been emptied and popped in the dishwasher, make your way towards the lounge with the open fire blazing and nurse a local Scottish whisky as you share anecdotes.

As well as the living areas, you will also find five comfortable bedrooms across the ground floor ready to welcome all members of the family for a cosy night’s sleep. Take your pick of the master bedroom with king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with shower over bath, the twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower over bath, two further twin bedrooms and the single bedroom, each as cosy as the next. To complete the picture, there is also a family bathroom with bath and separate shower.

This place is pure magic. The loch and mountains create a breathtaking, almost unreal backdrop, and the lodge feels like a true home from home. Bigger than expected, spotlessly clean, warm and incredibly welcoming, with the kitchen at its heart. Bruce and Flo were incredible hosts and went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one. Its remoRead morete, especially in winter, but thats part of its soul. We fell in love with it and cant wait to return. Hide

The lodge is warm, comfortable & spacious & the kitchen is very well equipped. The open fire creates a cozy atmosphere in the large lounge which has large windows overlooking a beautiful lochan. It was perfect for a walking party with an excellent drying room. The manager of the house was very helpful & onhand in case there were any problems

Fantastic, perfectly equipped house in a fantastic location. We had a really enjoyable and comfortable holiday. Perfect house to come back to after a long day's walking in the mountains - excellent drying room was particularly welcome! Host was very welcoming and helpful with everything.
