A beautiful cottage, clean, welcoming and comfortable BUT it sadly isn't one I'd recommend for a few reasons the parking is on the pavement on the edge of an unbelievably busy noisy road. So little room you can't even get out of your vehicle if there's a vehicle passing. We kept the front door locked permanently to rule out any risk to the dogs gettRead moreing out straight onto a major highway. The rear garden is fenced but our friends small jack Russell could have got under the gate onto the road. The head height on the landing to access the bedrooms was massively restricted to anyone over approx 5ft2. Such a shame about the road noise as the wagons come past all day and night. The description is very deceptive but if your used to living on a major road, have no dogs or children with you then it will be perfect. Hide

The damp in the lounge has made my wife ill with a chest infection due to her asthma, if we had known there was damp, we would never have booked.

A lovely cottage with great books to read and inspiring wall art. it was a bit far from groceries and major attractions but that was part of the charm. Rob Roy way was beautiful and accessible with a path right next to the house, and the bike trail across the street was a wonderful place to walk, run, and watch birds.

A lovingly restored cottage in beautiful surroundings. A cosy lounge to snuggle up in the evenings and a lovely bright dining room. The kitchen had great equipment and everything lovely and clean. The bed was comfortable and the bedrooms a good size. Our dogs loved the secure garden and the walks by the river opposite. We had a wonderful stay.
