We had issues with the property from the minute we got there. We knew the property had a private water supply, however there was no water on the first evening, which we discovered at 9.45pm. I had to phone the owner to see what was happening and was informed they were looking into it. The water came back on during the night, however the pressureRead more was very low. Fortunately we were out the following day whilst repairs continued until it was eventually fixed. The beds are comfy and clean, and the two lounges work well with different ages groups. In the kitchen, however we found many of the the utensils and crockery needed washing before we could use it. There were birds nest all around the property, in the eaves and under the fascia boards. There was bird excrement everywhere. On the sixth evening when we had gone to bed, we woke up to hearing a rustling noise and found a mouse running across the bedroom floor. Upon inspection of the built in wardrobes we found mouse traps set. There is obviously a vermin issue. After that incident we decided to come home a day early!! Hide

Very picturesque location, everything provided and a great spacious property. View from the hot tub was superb. Only a few miles from a large ASDA and the town of Dunbar. Good communication with the owner.

We have loved staying here, It was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. It is remote but we liked that. Kids age 6 7 and 9 loved playing in the stream while the teenagers opted for the hot tub. The adults just looked out of the window at the scenery all day (and counted sheep!!)

Emma and family were fantastic hosts and amenable to all our requests. Great location and we spent a morning with Emma and family at the farms stables; nothing was a problem and extremely accommodating! Views and remote location are both excellent; would definitely return and would not hesitate to book this property again.
