Children and adults alike will adore a trip to the land of Loch Ness, exploring the legendary monster that lies beneath and enjoying beautiful Scottish countryside. Within short walking distance to the banks of the infamous loch, this well-appointed wee home is the perfect base for your family getaway. Comfortably sleeping four guests and one dog, everyone is catered for here in the Highlands.

All set out on one level, this ground floor home has been comfortably thought out and tastefully decorated. Boasting a welcoming and cosy atmosphere, find antique furniture set amongst traditional soft furnishings and an entirely attractive space to relax.

On arrival, head to the cosy open-plan lounge and dining room. This sociable space is kept warm and toasty thanks to a traditional wood burner, a perfect place to settle on an evening and enjoy dinner and drinks. French doors lead out onto the private garden, creating a great space to entertain a summer party or BBQ. Make preparations for this al fresco dining in the well-equipped kitchen down the hall and look forward to stacking a dishwasher instead of being lumped with the washing up after the revelry ends. When it’s time for bed, you can retire into two cosy bedrooms. The first of these is a spacious double with charming antique vanity table, and the second is a bright twin room that’s ideal for younger guests.

To the rear of the property, accessible via the lounge, you’ll find a manicured private garden that’s enclosed and ideal for your kids and dog to play safely. We spent Christmas week at the cottage and it was the best decision we made. Wendy had made some homemade cake/florentines and popped a bottle of fizz in the fridge which was a lovely touch. Hot tub is a 6 person and I enjoyed the in built speakers. Easy bus route to Inverness and to get to lots of places of interest/walks in the area. We walked thRead moree first 16 miles of the Affric Kintail Way from the front door. Dog friendly and everything we could need. We would love to stay again. Thank You. Hide
