Pack your bags, grab family, friends and canine companions and head to the coast for a taste of Scottish shoreline living. Escape to this glorious old farmhouse and find both cosy corners for a moment of peace and quiet, and rooms which invite lively evenings with loved ones. With spectacular views across the water and beyond, fill your lungs with sea air and feel rejuvenated, refreshed and revitalised as you embark on the holiday of a lifetime in this fantastic dwelling. Perfect for lovers of the great outdoors, this home is surrounded by places to hike, fish and swim in the ocean, so you can spend hours adventuring before returning back to the ranch for home comforts.

Home to the heart of the house, the ground floor has a handful of sociable rooms where you can laugh, chat and plan exciting days out together. The lounge is a vibrant space with a cosy feel - settle down into comfortable sofas and get the open fire roaring to keep you toasty warm on chilly days. Pop the TV on or delve into a book and find yourself in another world. Venture through into the kitchen where an oil AGA cooker invites you to cook up a storm and create delicious meals with ease. Enjoy a snack and a cup of tea at the breakfast table or head into the dining room for a more formal sit-down meal where all of you can dine together. The utility room and back hall are great places to throw off muddy boots and soggy scarves, so you can stay clean and warm on returning home.

Four of five bedrooms are located on the first floor reached by climbing stairs. All bedrooms are spacious and peaceful spots to rest tired eyes and doze off and dream. Wake up feeling ready for the day and head for a quick freshen up in the shower or take the time to soak away any aches and pains in the bath so you can start your day feeling relaxed and ready to take on the world.

Fantastic house with lots of character and a good location for touring the northern west coast of Scotland. The rooms are comfortable and the place is very homely. Have stayed a couple of times at Mungasdale House and will hopefully return again soon..

Lovely cottage in a quiet location, enabled us to explore more of the North Highlands. Worth knowing that as the change over is a sunday to make sure you get some essentials before going to the cottage as local shops are shut after check-in time. The house was very easy to relax in and the number of downstairs rooms meant we weren't constantly on tRead moreop of one another. Very dog friendly and great space for large groups! Hide

It is a lovely cottage with superb views in perfect secluded spot. The boundary is enclosed and safe for dogs to roam around once the main gate is locked. The water colour is a bit stained due to it being from a private source and treated with Peat. As the shops are at driving distance, its best to carry bottled water with you when you arrive if thRead moree colour puts you off, the taste was fine. It took us some time to figure out the AGA oven, but it was quite handy once you get the hang of it. Hide
