Get away from it all in this beautiful holiday home just 1 mile from Kirriemuir. The family and pet-friendly property is located on a working organic farm and enjoys magnificent views across open countryside. You’ll be just over 1 mile from the edge of the Angus Glens – a haven for adventure-lovers – where you’ll find endless walking opportunities at locations such as Glen Clova, Corrie Fee, and Glen Doll Forest (all within 20 miles). Alternatively, journey to the idyllic RSPB Loch of Kinnordy (2.5 miles) to explore the boardwalks through the wetlands and look for rare birds from the hides. There are also some fabulous local attractions to enjoy, including 600-year-old Glamis Castle (3.5 miles), which was the childhood home of HM The Queen Mother. For shopping and eating out, head into the attractive town of Kirriemuir, with its narrow streets and characterful cottages.

The converted stable sits within a private farm estate, surrounded by the rolling Angus countryside. Enter the property via the vestibule, where you can store muddy boots and outdoor attire, before moving through to the heart of the home. The cosy lounge, with its beamed ceiling and roaring wood burner, is the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. Spend time in here, snuggled up on the L-shaped sofa with your favourite book or a classic film on the Smart TV. Alternatively, retreat to the separate snug/TV room for some quiet time at the end of the day. This room doubles up as a single bedroom with an additional trundle bed. Also on the ground floor is a stylish kitchen/diner for sharing mealtimes as a group, along with a handy larder to store all your fresh ingredients. A spacious family bathroom rounds off this level. Steep, cottage-style stairs lead to the first floor, where you’ll discover two inviting bedrooms – a king-size and a twin - both of which are decorated in calming tones for a good night’s sleep.

Outside, the enclosed garden has furniture for dining alfresco as you take in the beautiful countryside setting. Guests are also welcome to explore the wider estate, along with the surrounding countryside tracks and forest trails. The property has private parking for two cars.
