Discover this welcoming bungalow with a large garden and spectacular sea views, ideal for groups of six friends or a family seeking adventurous escapes in the Scottish Highlands. Located on the NC500, this lovely home is a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy some relaxation. Spend a day on Big Sand Beach (1.5 miles), which is beautiful and secluded, and looks out over the water towards Longa Island. Visit the scenic village of Gairloch (3 miles), which has a couple of shops and a little harbour where you can join boat trips for whale, dolphin, and seal watching. Hop in the car and head to the National Trust’s Inverewe Garden (10.5 miles), a botanic garden with a range of plants.
Park up in the private driveway and step into this single-storey croft cottage, which dates to the 1800s. Shake off your walking boots in the hallway and continue into the kitchen/diner. This bright and airy space has lovely views over the surrounding countryside, so you can cook and eat while admiring the views. Once you have filled yourselves up, kick back and relax in the lounge and flick on the Smart TV to watch your favourite show or a movie. As the night rolls in, choose from two double bedrooms located back through the hallway or, a twin bedroom located off the lounge. Each is cosy and welcoming, providing lovely spaces for a restful night's sleep. Finishing up the interior is a shower room, and a separate WC.
Outside, enjoy an evening tipple or an al fresco meal in the large garden while you admire the fantastic views and soak up the refreshing sea breeze. It is fully enclosed so children and dogs can play safely, too.
