Very clean and well equipped, most furniture really comfy however we found the beds hard and not comfortable. Fence could do with upgrading, as it is sagging and a medium/larger dog can easily jump it . Fresh milk and bread difficult to come by so go well prepared! Lovely area, spectacular scenery and great weather made it a great week.

We loved the location, views and remoteness of this property. Everything was spot on, basic but adequate, warm and cosy and a perfect break away from it all. Clachtoll beach well worth checking out and Achmelvich is beautiful. Take plenty of logs for the fire!

Difficult to say. The cottage sits very close to another one. It has no views from the living room. It looks prettier than it is. No solid fuel at all provided so we left what we had leftover for the next guests.

Lovely cottage best suited for those who want to get away from everything, due to its beautiful location, ideal for walkers, but half an hour's drive from the nearest shop for milk, etc. Due to COVID nothing was in the house, no milk/coffee, nothing... so be prepared to arrive in Lochinver before shops close for milk, etc. No views from living roomRead more, but step outside the house into the garden and there is beautiful scenery. Well appointed, everything there that is needed for a comfortable stay. Hide

Complete peace and quiet off the beaten track was just what we needed. Cosy cottage was a gem and really comfortable, a home from home. Take plenty of food and fuel for the log burner and you'll hardly need to move from the spot. Picturesque drives to lovely beaches not too far away.
