Get away from it all to this luxurious lodge with wood fired private hot tub, enclosed decked area and large firepit, enjoying magnificent views over the surrounding countryside and glens.

The beautiful lodge enjoys an idyllic location at the foothills of the Angus Glens, meaning you’ll have a vast array of walking routes at your fingertips. The property boasts far-reaching rural views and has a private hot tub for you to soak your aching limbs after a long walk. From the property, you can enjoy day trips to the sandy beaches of Scotland’s east coast, or to the vibrant quayside city of Dundee (20 miles). The lodge makes a magnificent romantic retreat, yet also sleeps an additional two guests on a sofa bed if required.

With its Scandinavian style, exposed woodwork, and stylish furniture, the stunning micro lodge provides the perfect backdrop to a memorable holiday. Its open-plan layout creates a sociable space to spend quality time together, soaking up the peace and tranquillity of this beautiful corner of Scotland.

The property is flooded with natural light, thanks to the large patio doors framing the spectacular glen and countryside views. Spend time unwinding on the sofa with your favourite book or sipping a glass of wine at the breakfast bar. A cleverly designed kitchen area houses a gas hob and oven, so you can whip up a tasty meal for two. At the end of the day, sink into the comfortable king-size bed for a good night’s sleep. Completing the lodge is a stylish shower room.

Heading outside, discover an enclosed, decked balcony, again with wonderful views. Dine alfresco under the stars, before cracking open the bubbly and taking a soak in your wood-fired hot tub. On site, you’ll also have access to a shared firepit and BBQ hut.

Glen Clova, just 6.5 miles away, offers jaw-dropping mountain scenery. It’s the perfect place to switch off from the humdrum of everyday life and fully embrace nature. Climbing enthusiasts love the variety of Glen Clova and flock to the area for scrambling, bouldering, and rock climbing.

For a completely different landscape, head to the windswept dunes of St Cyrus Nature Reserve (30 miles). Take an invigorating coastal walk through the rich and diverse reserve to spot a whole host of rare birds and insects, whilst not forgetting to look up to admire the peregrine falcons and buzzards circling overhead.

From the property, it’s easy to take a day trip to the historic quayside city of Dundee (22 miles). Spend time perusing the many museums and galleries, before checking out one of the independent bars or restaurants or perhaps taking a romantic stroll along the sandy shores of Broughty Ferry Beach, which is located just 3.5 miles outside the city centre.
