The beautiful lodge enjoys an idyllic location at the foothills of the Angus Glens, meaning you’ll have a vast array of walking routes at your fingertips. The property boasts far-reaching rural views and has a private hot tub for you to soak your aching limbs after a long walk. With its Scandinavian style, exposed woodwork, and stylish furniture, the stunning micro lodge provides the perfect backdrop to a memorable holiday. Its open-plan layout creates a sociable space to spend quality time together, soaking up the peace and tranquillity of this beautiful corner of Scotland.

The property is flooded with natural light, thanks to the large patio doors framing the spectacular glen and countryside views. Spend time unwinding on the sofa with your favourite book or sipping a glass of wine at the breakfast bar. A cleverly designed kitchen area houses a gas hob and oven, so you can whip up a tasty meal for two. At the end of the day, sink into the comfortable king-size bed for a good night’s sleep. Completing the lodge is a stylish shower room.

Heading outside, discover an enclosed, decked balcony, again with wonderful views. Dine alfresco under the stars, before cracking open the bubbly and taking a soak in your wood-fired hot tub. On site, you’ll also have access to a shared firepit and BBQ hut.

Arrived on Saturday and Chris had the hot tub all ready for us when we arrived, he was so welcoming and showed us around the pod and grounds. There was BBQs, firewood and lighters all included with the pod, the appliances were all there too and we just had an amazing time. We watched the stars while in the hot tub on the last night and we also got Read moreto see the airlie monument and loads of red squirrels. Chris was very helpful in picking points of interest and the views were just amazing. Hide

Lodge was warm, clean and in a quiet rural location, but still conveniently close to Kirriemuir. We had a lovely relaxing weekend, and will definitely stay again. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed the cocktail on arrival.
