Spacious and secluded holiday home set just 300 metres from the edge of beautiful Gair Loch, ideal for a large family or group of friends seeking a retreat in the stunning Scottish Highlands.

Guests of all ages can discover the beauty of the Highlands from this lovely retreat. Deceptively spacious, the property is a Tardis for larger families, happily hosting up to 11 guests. The chalet-style home is the perfect meeting spot for two families and a host of kids, with bunk beds, pull-out beds and sofa beds for younger kids and comfortable double bedrooms for the adults. A family trip wouldn’t be complete without the family dog, and up to three canines are more than welcome to come and join in the fun.

With a wood-panelled lounge and pastel colours throughout the rest of the property, this house offers a perfect balance between cosy and airy, creating a homely space midwinter whilst offering a bright space in sunnier weather. Tall and wide windows allow remarkable countryside views whilst also letting light flood throughout the various rooms.

With the property all set on one level and the living area an open-plan space, the entire family can get together easily for evening games and films. Head to the lounge, where you can all kick back in front of the TV with a favourite programme. Floor-to-ceiling windows create a spacious feel to the room and offer an excellent viewpoint for birds and wildlife. Sit down to dinner at the spacious dining table before crowding around the coffee table to play a family board game. The kitchen can also be found in this open-plan living space - just switch on the CD player or radio to fill the room with music whilst preparing a family dinner or picnic. The adults of the family will enjoy resting their heads in two comfortable double bedrooms, also on the ground floor, whilst young kids will happily take over the bunk bed room with an extra pull-out bed. A final bedroom offers the versatile option of being either twin or super king-size, thanks to a zip-and-link bed, and two more guests are welcome to stay on the sofa bed in the lounge. This sofa bed is a fairly small double and ideally suited to two extra children in order to host everyone comfortably.

Young visitors will adore the external garage, which has been decked out as a kid's chill-out zone with table tennis, table football, pool table and dart board. Despite the renovation of the garage, you can park three cars to the front of the house so you'll have no parking worries. Enjoy a summer party outside during your stay; a BBQ and outdoor seating provides the perfect spot for al fresco entertainment as well as a trampoline to let the kids run off some steam.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Please note there is a refundable £250 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.

A wonderfully sheltered spot in a stunning location. Just 10 mins to a good butchers (also good for veg) and other local shops. Well located for outdoor activities. Not at all far from the water's edge and easy to launch our canoe. Plenty of storage for bikes and the like in the garage/playroom. The owners have clearly given a lot of thought to whaRead moret holiday makers might need to entertain themselves in good weather and bad, for kids and grown ups alike. Would happily stay here again. Comfortable house all on one level with a short run into the village. Views from the house, over the beautifully kept neighbouring garden, were great. The very short and easy path to the shore line was the best. Just carry your coffee down and sit and watch the wildlife. Games room would be great for kids on a rainy day, A perfectly situated house.
