We had a lovely family holiday 600 miles from home at this house in Newtonmore, Scotland. The village and neighbouring Kingussie are a lovely place to spend a relaxing week as a base for exploring central Scotland. Really enjoyed our stay at Ballathie, great location for activities and days out. Cottage a little dated but was largely clean. Some kitchen equipment needs a good clean and updating. Garden a good size although littered with bits of dog muck from previous guests which isnt great when you have young kids wanting to play.
