With direct access to the shingle beach from the garden, spend the days on the water before returning to recharge the batteries with a glass of wine in the cinema room.

The reception rooms within this fantastic period, reverse-level townhouse are serene in soothing, grey tones punctuated with feature wallpaper in the bedrooms adding a touch of character. Ornate cornicing and plush carpets create an atmosphere of sophisticated elegance mirrored in the leather sofas and minimalist decor, while large windows allow light to flood in. Stylish features such as the electric fire with mood lighting and reclining, electric chairs makes this property is a delight to return to after a busy day.

Laid out over three storeys from ground to second, each floor has a mix of reception rooms and bedrooms. The living room is the heart of the house and, located on the first floor, makes the most of the coastal location. When adults and kids need a little space, the grown-ups can settle in the living room for a glass of wine and the kids can head to the cinema room for a movie marathon. Prepare a delicious meal in the bespoke kitchen, before gathering together around the dining table, perfect for sociable evenings and hearty breakfasts. Get everyone together for a magical walk through Puck’s Glen (6 miles). This atmospheric trail takes you through a fairy tale landscape of waterfalls and shallow rock pools spanned by arched wooden bridges. If you have any keen divers in your party, they will love going wreck diving from Holy Loch Marina (3.5 miles), as there are more than 20 shipwrecks to be discovered within half an hour of the harbour. If you don’t want to go underwater, there are powerboat tours available too.

Stayed with a family of 11 and this amazing property had everything we needed! The welcome pack was a lovely thought and we were all so sad to leave. The views from the rooms are beautiful and the kids loved the beach right outside! Everything was perfect!

We all loved our stay at Bay House, it was well equipped for all our needs and the views were amazing. Lots to do in the local area, Loch Lomond cruise boat was lovely and the Loren in Dunoon was a favourite place to eat for us all.

Wonderful week away. Beautiful location, right on the beach. My daughters were in heaven being able to walk out the front door onto the beach. Property is fabulous and very large. Being in a large group there are plenty of spaces if you need a quiet moment. The views from the front windows are breathtaking.
