This stylish and beautifully furnished house features several gorgeous reception rooms including an elegant formal dining room, a bright and welcoming lounge and a light-filled conservatory. The property has been lovingly furnished and tastefully decorated throughout, with an open fire, plenty of comfortable seating and a wealth of interesting and unusual ornaments, mirrors, artworks and light fittings. The plush and cosy bedrooms are perfect for enjoying a fantastic night’s sleep.

Stepping into this inviting and attractive property the impressive furnished hallway leads you through to the delightful, spacious and relaxing lounge. This is a lovely space to unwind in, with a choice of comfortable sofas, a roaring open fire, a selection of games and books, and a card table. Here you can catch up with a good book, watch a movie or chat into the small hours. The lounge leads into the pretty conservatory which features a lovely dining table and views across the lawns of the walled garden, and is a perfect spot for enjoying a snack, a light meal or drinks. Enjoying an idyllic location on a private estate – with the owner's resident in the main house – this fabulous property is within easy reach of the splendid sandy beaches of the lively seaside town of Troon (12 miles). Troon is best known for its golf courses, but it also boasts some beautiful beaches, a delightful esplanade and a thriving harbour, with opportunities for yachting and windsurfing. The bustling town of Kilmarnock (7 miles) is the home of Dean Castle Country Park, the Burns Monument Centre and the New Laigh Kirk as well as a range of pubs, shops and restaurants. Riding lessons can be arranged on the estate which provides scenic hacks to explore the region. Golfers are spoilt for choice with the famous Royal Troon (11.5 miles), Dundonald (14 miles), Prestwick (11.5 miles) and Western Gailes (13.5 miles) courses all within easy reach. Walkers, mountain bikers, cyclists and nature-lovers will also find plenty to explore in this wonderful part of Ayrshire, with a range of country trails, coastal paths forestry tracks criss-crossing the area. Other attractions include Dumfries House (11.5 miles), Dundonald Castle (8.5 miles) and Eglington Country Park (15 miles). Excellent property. Owners and staff around the grounds really friendly. Very quiet. Good location for discovering Ayr. High standard of equipment throughout and really comfortable.

Beautiful house in fantastic gardens and grounds. The owners and staff were extremely attentive and helpful. We got to visit their farm and learn about dairy farming. The house is well stocked and the owners leave very generous starter packs. We will be back.

The property was exactly as described and wonderfully equipped. Perfect for our family holiday the garden was so beautiful and perfect for the dogs as it was fully enclosed. The owners were friendly and very helpful.

Well where do I start on such a great cottage. Lovely property, so very well equipped everywhere: Kitchen (better equipment than I have), Bathrooms so clean, beautiful dining room and lounge, and a conservatory with games for the children. The House is the perfect accommodation for a special family gathering. We, 9 adults, 2 young children plus dog, had that pleasure over Christmas week.
