A brilliant property which is in an ideal location to explore the NC500. Helmsdale is a lovely village and John who looks after the property is a really great character, great to get to know and very friendly. Only slightly let down by a couple of things that were not functioning when we went ie the wine cooler, and the barbecue grill in the kitcheRead moren and the bidet in the bathroom, very minor distractions from what was a beautiful home which was spotlessly clean. grest stay Hide

Great property. Fantastic views House is on the Helmsdale river The house is very big and comfortable for a large family. Great location, and a nice place to be even if staying indoors. We used the house as a base to explore the north coast 500. I would certainly recommend it
