This delightful former Byre is bright and airy with stylish contemporary touches blended with traditional furnishings to create a cosy and comfortable feel. Sit back and enjoy the stunning views from large windows and doors.

There's also a bird of prey centre and treetop walkways here, so it's perfect for a family day out.

If botanic gardens are your thing, visit the University of Dundee Botanic Garden (19 miles) where you can find three pools holding aquatic plants, a well and even a mountain. Dundee itself is a great city to explore and is known as Scotland's sunniest city! Beautiful location, so quiet and peaceful. Well-appointed cottage, had everything we needed for our stay. So many options for relaxing, whether in front of a roaring fire, up on the balcony overlooking the countryside, or in the conservatory surrounded by the vines. Perfectly located for visiting either St Andrews or Cupar, after a boiled egg or twRead moreo cooked on the Aga. The owners are nearby in case of need (extra logs for the fire!) and are a lovely couple. Hide

Our 3rd stay at Bruntshiels, the setting is fantastic with stunning views and so wonderfully peaceful. The enclosed garden is great for dogs and a lovely place to be in the afternoon sun. This was the most outstanding holiday cottage we have visited, the description on your website cannot justify what a great place this is to stay. The garden is great and so dog friendly and nothing could beat having an evening drink on the balcony watching the sun go down over the beautiful countryside.
