This house is a real find. For a family of 5 it is always very difficult to find places with room to accommodate but this house was roomy yet cosy and had everything you would possibly need. Loved the proximity to the high street. The streetlights cafe had the best bacon rolls and the Greek tapas fantastic food. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely clean, comfy cottage in great location for Carlingwark Loch and shops. Recommend Street Lights cafe for lunch and Fish & Chip shop just down the road but it gets very busy so need to book a slot online. For bookworms a visit to Wigtown is a must. Culzean Castle and country park is also worth visiting.

A most comfortable, immaculately clean and spacious property. Very handy location, suitable for non-drivers with great public transport links for exploring Dumfries and Galloway. The house is lovely and clean and in a great location for the high street. It is very spacious and we had plenty of room for 4 adults, 3 children and a dog. Beds could be more comfortable and kitchen better stocked with trays and dishes for cooking. Quite noisy while we were there with the neighbours having extensive garden work done with a lot of Read moredrilling. And noise from nearby businesses. Hide
