For celebratory meals, special occasions and just because you are on holiday together, lay the table in the elegant dining room with its stained glass windows, while the wood burner throws out a cosy glow.

Follow the stairs down to the lower ground floor, to find the games room: pick up a bat and ball here and have a knockabout on the table tennis table. The utility room is also down here.

The bedrooms are all on the two upper floors of the house. Climb the stairs up to the first floor to find a family bathroom. Great older building with very modern bathrooms. Very clean and comfortable, Marvellous grounds with a little wooden house the younger ones loved; tennis court and near a safe stretch of river where we paddled with a canoe we brought. Lost of space to relax and the snooker room was great for weary adults to chill at the end of the day!
