Happily sleeping eight across four bedrooms, this wonderful holiday cottage is perfectly equipped to ensure a relaxing family getaway. Conveniently located near Fort William, ‘the outdoor capital of the UK’, you have great access to the amenities and adventurous opportunities it has to offer.

Spacious rooms with large windows make this accommodation fresh and bright, while also providing guests with beautiful scenery to admire. Furnished in a traditional style that fits beautifully with its location, this lodge feels cosy and homely with plenty of warm woods, antique pieces, and fun fabrics. The home is fully-equipped for a comfortable and relaxing stay, with several reception areas and facilities that meet the needs of modern living.

Upon entering the property you’ll find the centre hall, which is fitted with a handy wood burner to keep the house warm and toasty throughout. Curl up in front of the open fire in the sitting room with a book or put a film on the TV to keep the family entertained. Unleash your inner chef in the spacious and fully-equipped farmhouse kitchen, with a breakfast table for casual dining, and French doors out onto the sunny patio. Adjacent is a dining room with seating for eight. Downstairs you’ll also find the first beautifully decorated bedroom and a shower room.

Upstairs is a wonderful mezzanine seating area with large Velux windows that let light stream in. This relaxed space is ideal for socialising, or for a cosy family film night. All three bedrooms are lovingly decorated with great attention to detail, furnished with comfortable beds and ample storage space. The beautiful countryside views from the bedroom windows keep the rooms fresh and bright while ensuring a good night of rest.

This property boasts a lovely garden, with 3 acres of enclosed grounds perfect for the kids to run around and a children’s treehouse, swing and slide that they are sure to enjoy. A paved terrace provides a lovely place to sit and admire the view with a cup of tea. Spot roe deer grazing nearby or birds of prey circling overhead, with a variety of wildlife living in this beautiful and peaceful habitat. Ample parking is located at the property.

The nearest amenities are situated in Spean Bridge, with a post office, shop and restaurant just 1.5 miles away. However, for more shopping facilities and excellent eateries, head to Fort William, 10 miles away. Here there are plenty of activities to try, from hiking and canoeing to rafting and archery, as well as scenic boat trips across Loch Linnhe. If you love active adventures, then travel just 6 miles to the Nevis Range Ski Resort for skiing and snowboarding.

Jump on board the Jacobite at Fort William, the Highland Steam Train, and cross the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct that features in Harry Potter. Enjoy the splendid views from the classic carriages as you traverse the wild landscapes to Mallaig.
