Wildlife lovers and fans of the great outdoors will find plenty of exciting things to do from this fantastic base.

If you would like to try fishing on the Findhorn then it may be possible to organise this by arrangement (there are lots of fishing opportunities in Scotland but please do check the rules beforehand). There are walking and cycling opportunities right from your doorstep but if you want to explore a little further afield then the city of Inverness is located around 16 miles from the cottage. Here you will find a wealth of attractions, including Inverness Castle, Abertarff House (the oldest house in Inverness) and Inverness Cathedral. Cairngorm National Park is located within driving distance and provides visitors with countless outdoor opportunities. This is a fantastic area with stunning scenery, so make sure you plan this in advance and take a whole day to explore what it has to offer. Regardless of how you plan to spend your time, this cottage forms a great base to explore The Highlands.
