Offering stunning views across the Firth of Forth, this delightful semi-detached bungalow enjoys a fantastic location in the charming fishing village of Pittenweem, which is home to both the Pittenweem Arts Festival and the East Neuk Festival. Set on the coastal path and within half a mile of a bustling harbour this is a lovely holiday base for a family or a couple seeking a fresh, light and relaxing getaway in the stunning East Neuk region.

 

From the spacious open-plan living area you can sit back and admire the stunning sea views – you may even get the chance to spot dolphins or whale in the firth. This lovingly furnished and brightly decorated property provides ample accommodation for up to four guests.

 

Entering the property, you will find the attractive open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With bi-folding doors offering a breathtaking view, the lounge is the perfect place to relax and watch the sun go down. There’s also a pretty dining area, and the fully equipped bespoke kitchen is ideal for preparing your favourite meals. Exploring further, there are two cosy bedrooms – a king-size room and a twin zip-and-link which can be made up as a super-king-size on request. The stylish and quirky bathroom features a shower over the bath and a WC.

 

Going outside via the bi-fold doors, the enclosed garden is a lovely space to unwind in, with a charming decked area with seating and an electric BBQ, allowing you to enjoy al fresco meals while basking in the amazing view. Private off-road parking is available for one car.

Situated in a delightful residential area of this historic village, the property opens onto the Fife coastal path, offering keen walkers and nature lovers miles of wonderful walks to explore. The village also offers a range of shops, pubs and restaurants, and attractions including Pittenweem Skate Park, St Monans Windmill and St Fillan's Cave. Also nearby are Kellie Castle (3.5 miles), Scotland's Secret Bunker (6.5 miles) and Kingsbarns Distillery (8 miles). You can also take a boat trip out across to the picturesque Isle of May, now a nature reserve for an array of seabirds and seals, but with a long history of smuggling and adventure. The nearby town of Anstruther is famous for its fish and chips and is home to the Scottish Fisheries Museum (1.5 miles). This is a fantastic area for cyclists, photographers and lovers of outdoor pursuits, especially golfers: there are numerous courses nearby including those at Anstruther (1 mile), Crail Balcomie (7.5 miles), Kingsbarns (9 miles) and the home of golf itself, St Andrews (11 miles). St Andrews is also known for the ruins of its impressive cathedral, its historic university, ancient buildings and medieval streets, as well as a wide choice of great places to eat and drink.

This is wonderful cottage with amazing views over the Firth of Forth. It is extremely comfortable with a terrific sitting area with a full glass frontage for taking in thr view. Great cottage, superb views tight across the Firth of Forth, excellent sunrises captured on camera. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, ample parking for two SUV. (Suzuki Vitar & Dacia Duster). The house is set in a perfect location looking over the Firth of Forth. The Fife Coastal Path passes the bottom of the garden and the decking is an ideal spot for watching the world go by. We had a wonderful stay for my parents 90th birthdays, the location on the cliff path meant they could sit and view the world pass by, whilst we could go for lovely walks in both directions. Always something to see, including many fishing boats and 3 visits by pods of dolphins. This is a fantastic property with amazing views. Its very comfortable and cosy;we stayed during a very cold week in December and were very warm. A great place to take a dog with an enclosed garden and the coastal path right outside. The pooch parlour with a special dog drier is a very thoughtful touch.

Lovely location, looking out across the Bay. Easy access to the centre of Pittenweem and the Harbour. Spacious, spotlessly clean and warm.
